Cokebusters, is a specialist international energy services technologist, operating from Head Offices in Chester (UK) and Houston (USA); we support some of the world's biggest energy providers.

Having just passed our 20th anniversary, we're implementing an ambitious 5-year strategic growth plan. This will innovate and expand all aspects of our machinery manufacturing, cleaning, inspection, consulting and client operations with teams on site around the globe, cleaning and inspecting pressure containing equipment & pipelines.

With our continued growth in mind we now have a vacancy for a Design Engineer to join the team based out of our Chester (Hawarden) office.

The role will work closely with our technology, workshop and fabrication teams to produce and update detailed schematics both for our bespoke decoking pumping units (which we build on site) and associated machinery.

Our ideal candidate will have strong 3D CAD skills (Solidworks) acquired in an industrial or engineering environment, previous experience designing sheet metal and frame assemblies would be advantageous. The candidate would also require a reasonable understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Additional knowledge of gearbox and motor design are also desirable as is an appropriate engineering qualification but neither is essential.
