About the Role:

We're looking for a practical, detail-focused person to join our team in a

Design

role. This is a hands-on job that involves creating technical drawings and working out accurate costings for both bespoke and standard projects. You'll be working closely with our production and sales teams to make sure everything's priced right and designed to run smoothly through the workshop.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving and has experience in engineering, fabrication, or a similar environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

Turning customer requirements into workable designs and drawings Producing 2D and 3D CAD layouts for fabrication and assembly Preparing accurate quotes and costings for a range of jobs Working alongside the sales and production teams to make sure designs are practical and priced correctly Updating and improving standard designs and price lists Helping streamline the design and estimating process Servicing customers as required

What We're Looking For:

Experience in a design (engineering or manufacturing background ideal) Confident using CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD) Good with numbers and attention to detail Able to read and understand technical drawings Organised, with good communication skills Able to juggle a few jobs at once and meet deadlines

It Would Be Great If You Also Had:

Knowledge of fabrication and farming
