Key Responsibilities

Develop and design mechanical components, systems, and products using SolidWorks and AutoCAD Create detailed 2D and 3D models, drawings, and specifications for manufacturing and assembly Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards Conduct engineering calculations and analysis to optimise designs for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness Participate in the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to production Design and integrate hydraulic and electrical systems into mechanical assemblies Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design reports, test procedures, and user manuals Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during prototyping and production phases Contribute to R&D projects by researching new technologies and materials Ensure designs meet safety regulations and industry standards Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure proper implementation of designs Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to team members

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 3-8 years of professional experience in mechanical design engineering Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD Extensive experience in metal fabrication techniques and processes Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems design and integration Experience with electrical systems, including battery and mains power Proven track record of successful R&D project contributions Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
