Job Title:
Design Engineer
Working hours - Monday to Friday:
8am-5pm, 40 hours per week.
Salary -
30,000 - 50,000 per annum
Annual Leave -
25 days holiday + Bank Holidays

Duties & Responsibilities:
Create high-quality technical drawings and plans to ISO 128 Standard.
Use a variety of CAD software programmes to create designs in 2D and 3D.
Produce 2D parts drawings and 3D parts models for export to production.
Liaise with engineers to understand their design requirements.
Present working drawings for use in all stages of the project, tender, manufacture, and installation.
Update and maintain product design files.
Ensure that all work carried out is in compliance with company design, safety, quality, environmental compliance, and procedural standards.
Carry out any reasonable ad-hoc duties requested by your direct Line Manager or the Management Team.

Skills & qualifications:
Degree, HNC/HND or similar qualification with an Engineering/Industrial design background.
Proficient in SolidWorks with a good understanding of parametric capabilities.
Experience with Bentley MicroStation Connect edition CAD system or equivalent.
A highly motivated and confident individual with a strong desire to succeed.
Able to work unsupervised and in a team.
Detail orientated.
Good knowledge of English.
A full British driving licence.
Residence and the right to work in the UK.
A valid passport.
Able to pass a DBS check.
