DIAM is a world leader in the POS, display, merchandising and brand retail services sectors. We create, develop and install Retail & Merchandising solutions to enhance the consumer's experience in points of sale.

Due to recent and significant growth, we are now expanding our team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Design Engineers to join our busy Team. If you have demonstrable experience then we want to hear from you!

You will play a key role in the development of new products from a conceptual design or client brief. Working alongside the sales and creative teams delivering design solutions, incorporating DIAM best practice.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Ensuring that all projects are processed through the business in a cost-effective, timely & accurate manner Ensuring all necessary detail is in place, ie, specs, BOM, drawings, to ensure the project is handed over to the relevant teams when entering the production phase Work on several jobs concurrently, maintaining high standards Ensuring all design solutions have incorporated DIAM Group best practice materials, features & techniques Test components prior to production to ensure they are fit for purpose Ensuring health, safety and the environment are respected in design specifications Domestic and overseas travel as required

Your key skills/experience will include:

Minimum of 3 years' experience in the retail design industry Must be proficient in Solidworks, 3D modelling and 2D drawing creation Excellent knowledge of a variety of materials and manufacturing processes Good time management skills & ability to work on multiple projects at a time Great comprehension skills, able to understand required design standards, store guidelines and brand guidelines
