Brand new factory / facility / offices near Birmingham Airport : commutable from Solihull, Tamworth, Coventry, Coleshill, Nuneaton. Established over 40 years ago, this multinational business (\xc2\xa330m t/o) has just set up a brand new design & manufacturing facility ; headcount is already up to 25 and they are on course for 50 headcount in the next 18 months. Part of a larger group of companies. You will be part of an exciting start-up journey with the backing of a multinational group.

What we are looking for in this design engineer jobs role

\xc2\xb7 We are flexible on your background BUT you will need to have good mechanical engineering skills and a background with CAD / design engineering

\xc2\xb7 Very varied design (mostly mechanical but it\'s a mechanical systems that then link up with electrical into the assembly of a piece of equipment)

\xc2\xb7 The department will be 3 or 4 in the next few years. You will get chance to recruit and grow your own team and step up to being the Design Manager

\xc2\xb7 Ideally you will be mechanical focused but have an understanding / interest of electrical

\xc2\xb7 They use Inventor but we are flexible on your CAD / design package experience (equally happy with SolidWorks or AutoCAD)

\xc2\xb7 Experience is useful but really we want someone who is friendly, humble, agile and flexible. Whilst it\'s part of a big group it feels like a fast paced and varied SME.

\xc2\xb7 Within 15 miles approx. of Solihull / Birmingham airport region - easily accessible from Coventry, Tamworth etc.
