This is an exciting opportunity to join JCB Service and Attachments as an engineer responsible for delivering innovative, practical solutions across a diverse product range. You'll lead small to medium-sized projects from concept to launch, designing fabricated structures and collaborating with suppliers to develop efficient hydraulic and electrical systems. The role combines hands-on engineering with design responsibilities, offering the chance to work closely with commercial and operations teams to bring impactful products to market. What does this role involve day to day?
Engineering ownership of small to medium-sized projects, from initial product brief through to launch.
Designing and developing fabricated structures, with a focus on material selection, manufacturing processes, and FEA understanding
Collaborating with suppliers to develop hydraulic and electrical systems that are efficient, robust, and cost-effective.
Ensuring designs align with JCB standards and meet all relevant legislative requirements.
Communicating regularly with stakeholders, including participating in project reviews and delivering presentations.
