At Dornan

we are currently recruiting for a Design Manager a site in East London

Your day to day will include:

Along with the project director & planner develop TIDP. (Task information delivery plan)



Ensure all parties buy in to said TIDP. (give them their opportunity to input)



Hold all consultants and DESL engineers accountable for deliverable dates.



Track weekly performance of each. (KPI tracking)



Where failing on dates - understand why and find a way forward that protects DESL overall deliverable.



Chair weekly internal DTM's.



Chair bi-weekly upstream DTM's.



Manage the client's expectations. Ensuring we protect DESL at all times but also knowing when to give and take with the future opportunities in mind.



Manage the design with procurement dates in mind - participate in the procurement meeting weekly

What we are looking for:

The role is to manage the full pre-construction/handover documentation of the project and eventually the next 2 phases.
