Main Purpose of the Job
To provide comprehensive technical organisation and cross-functional support to the engineering team, with a strong emphasis on interfacing with manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, and procurement. This role is vital for ensuring engineering activities are accurately documented, compliant with internal and external standards, and efficiently tracked.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include day-to-day technical administration, document control, file management, and interdepartmental coordination to support seamless operational workflows.
Provide daily support for Toolbox Talks.
Administer Engineering to Order (ETO) and Engineering Change Requests (ECR).
Coordinate and manage:
Switch plates, rating plates, wiring & BC numbers.
Design & production and/or procurement of digital artworks for sticker packs, shipping decals, and weight decals.
Maintain build and test records.
Track and store calibration certificates.
Print and review engineering schematics.
Qualifications
ONC qualified in, or currently pursuing, a recognised engineering certification or qualification.
Proven Skills
Proven experience in a technical organisational or coordination role, preferably within engineering or manufacturing.
Strong organisational and time management skills; capable of prioritising and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, databases, and document control platforms. Experience with Illustrator also desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work independently while effectively managing multiple tasks.
Familiarity with engineering documentation and production readiness preparation.
Experience with decal or label design and printing software is a plus.
Solid understanding of engineering terminology and workflow processes.
