Five Acres High School have an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic
Teacher of Design & Technology
to join our existing DT team on a
part time or full-time basis.
We are looking for someone who is an outstanding classroom practitioner and able to identify students' strengths and weaknesses and act appropriately. You should hold a QTS and relevant degree. You will need to have a commitment to high standards and expectations and share in our values.
As a
DT
Teacher
your main responsibilities will be;
Teaching and supporting all designated classes in the subject area
Implementing and delivering an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
Monitoring and supporting the overall progress and development of students as a Teacher/Tutor.
Facilitating and encouraging a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
Contributing to raising standards of student attainment.
Sharing and supporting the school's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
