Wavenet is seeking an experienced and proactive DBAM who can account manager and develop long term relationships with our partners. The successful candidate will take on responsibility for account management of existing Partners with revenue responsibility in excess of 1m pa with the main focus on calling through an allocated partner base to development for new business opportunities. As well as acquisition of new partners. Key to the role will be increasing the penetration of our market leading products in our security portfolio with the partners. Driving growth by partner in terms of revenue and Gross Profit, whilst generating new relationships by contacting pre-defined target accounts.


There will also be a requirement to protect existing revenues by resigning clients and building strong relationships through exceptional interpersonal skills, strong industry, and product knowledge. You will be responsible for delivering against personal revenue and profit targets. You will need to be a team player and able to develop strong internal networks to deliver customer requirements.


You will be required to identify, design, and sell standard and tailored solutions that lead to a cost effective and profitable solution that satisfies the customer's requirements. We are seeking an outgoing colleague who has previous sales experience and is quickly able to build rapport within the team and with our customer base.


In our Wholesale team we have ambitions in a disruptive marketplace. Currently the Wholesale Channel supports over 400 independent resellers with revenue responsibility more than 20m per annum. Qualifications

Essential:



A good telephone manor, with a strong sales focused work ethic and skill-set (including up-selling/cross-selling) and managing new partner acquisition. Basic knowledge of our portfolio including Data, UC, Mobility, Cloud and Contact Centre.

Basic level

of understanding in security selling (SIEM, EDR, MDR, SOC and PEN Test) Him/her will understands basic KPIs and the benefit of such behavioural approach to day-to-day activities. Understands how to manage a sales cycle and qualification process. A Professional approach to team and client relationships. A highly motivated sales person with a professional approach. Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills. Emotionally resilient when under pressure. Will be IT literate in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent communicator (written and vocal) with good interpersonal skills. Able to adapt to change whether that be within Wavenet, or the telecoms industry incorporated with IT, displaying the will to learn and grow.

Desirable:



Demonstrable written and numerical skills to a high standard - the role involves presentation of written Quotations, writing and submitting Tenders and email communication with Senior Managers both within the partner channel account base and internally. Has the type of personality to deal with a spectrum of people both internally and externally, from assistants and engineers, through to Senior Management / CEO level. The individual will be expected to visit customers up to 3 days per week so must be able to travel to offsite meetings internally and externally. Prepared to go that extra mile for the customer - to ultimately own any issues through to resolution and engage with the correct areas of the business in a professional manner to assist in this. Demonstrable administration skills, with experience of using Microsoft Office packages (specifically Word & Excel) and following processes and procedures to ensure timely completion of any required administration


Additional Information



This is an office based role initially working from either our Manchester or West Midlands office in Shirley after a trial period this position for the right candidate could move into a hybrid role.
