Cranswick Country Foods Poultry is a specialty producer of delicious, cooked poultry ingredients and is a leading innovator in the industry. We create exciting, original products that meet the needs of today's busy consumers.

Main purpose of the role is to consistently improve the departmental and performance by facilitating all of the tasks- packing and dispatching chilled products, including the labelling, boxing, palletising, auditing of all Despatch paperwork prior to submission to Technical.

The key elements of the role are:

Continuous observation of department, ensuring they meet with the protocols and expectations of the production audits and overviews Ensure sign off on Manual Handling demonstration and training of new employees To ensure correct batch codes, use by dates and appropriate stock routines are followed and are appropriately recorded on the audit sheets in addition to scale calibration and recording To ensure first line packing seals are not compromised To visually appraise the product and if non conformances are noted, report these to senior Management / Technical immediately To ensure each product specification is followed and matched in all aspects of product, packaging and palletisation for despatch Co-ordinate contract transport and ensure the correct products and samples are appropriately loaded Continuous observation of department, ensuring they meet with the protocols and expectations of the production audits and overviews To maintain a clean and tidy hygienic working area to meet with the factory hygiene guidelines, practices and protocols Actively promotes and delivers improved health and safety behaviours and environmental awareness Demonstrates a broad view of labour resource planning, looking further than day to day Can act on decisions with the required amount of urgency Communicates effectively to all departments/stakeholders on or off shift Ensures the team are adequately trained and that personal and technical skills are developed Able to motivate self and others Builds positive relationships, promotes good morale and cooperation within the team and other areas of the business

Shift pattern is- 4on 4off from 5am to 5pm
