Job Description
Skea Egg Farms Ltd is a significant player in the agri-food sector supplying eggs to major retailers in Northern Ireland and mainland UK. We are currently recruiting for the following full-time permanent position based at Skea:
DESPATCH OPERATIVE
Working as part of our existing team, we require full-time Despatch Operatives to assist with the efficient running of our Despatch Department.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Picking, building, scanning and palletising orders for depots.
Adhering to correct stock rotation procedure.
Writing pallet sheets for designated depots ensuring all products are accounted for and product totals are correct
Stacking and strapping shippers
Loading containers
Clerical duties associated with the despatch of products.
ESSENTIAL:
Possess excellent communication skills. A good level of spoken and written English. Demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative whilst working as part of a team striving to achieve high levels of customer service.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:
Lorry loading experience
Knowledge of pallet trucks (A1 & A2)
Hours: 7am - 4pm (Monday to Friday, 1 in 3 Saturday's required with day off in lieu the following week and 1 in 6 Sunday's required from 7.30am to 11.30am
