Despatch Operative

to join their busy warehouse team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where accuracy, quality, and efficiency are key. You'll be a vital link in ensuring customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition, while helping to maintain the high operational standards the company is known for.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Managing the day-to-day operations of the despatch department to meet productivity, accuracy, and customer delivery targets Verifying the quantity and quality of all picked sales orders before shipment Recording stock movements and performing regular stock checks to maintain 100% accuracy Ensuring despatch areas are clean, safe, and well-organised Supporting and mentoring new and existing team members Resolving any despatch-related customer issues professionally and promptly Maintaining all documentation for traceability and compliance Making full use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or despatch environment Full, clean UK driving licence Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence Comfortable with manual handling and physically fit for warehouse tasks High attention to detail and strong record-keeping skills Computer-literate with experience using stock control systems A reliable, proactive attitude and a strong team spirit
