We are seeking a talented and passionate Dessert Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and experience in food production. You will play a key role in creating exceptional dishes, leading the kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This position requires excellent leadership skills, a commitment to hospitality, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Duties

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to our menu standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Manage food production processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with management on menu development and special events. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully and meet our quality standards.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment. Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead by example. A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not essential.

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour
