We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dessert Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a flair for creating delightful desserts that enhance our menu offerings. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Prepare a variety of desserts ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Follow recipes accurately while also being open to experimenting with new flavours and techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is essential, with a focus on dessert preparation preferred.
Strong understanding of food safety standards and practices.
Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately.
Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
