Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, maintaining shop organisation, and assisting with various tasks to ensure a smooth operation. This position requires strong communication skills.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries. Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the shop, ensuring products are displayed attractively. Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and checking stock levels. Process transactions accurately at the till and handle cash responsibly. Provide information about products and services, helping customers make informed choices. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction. Handle customer complaints or issues professionally, escalating them as necessary. Participate in training sessions to improve product knowledge and customer service skills.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential. Strong communication skills; proficiency in English is required, while Spanish or other languages are a plus. Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. A friendly and approachable demeanour with a passion for helping customers. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends if necessary.

Pay: 10.00-12.90 per hour
