Job Description

We are seeking a positive and customer-focused Shop Assistant to work in our farm shop on Saturdays, from 8.30-5.30pm.

We are a family-run, diversified farm with a vision to

provide connection in our community through local, seasonal and sustainable food and drink

. Our Farm Shop is an integral part of our business, a place for us to offer high-quality produce and service for our customers that champions the seasons and the local producers and craftsmen we have on our doorstep or in our trade.

We are based in Winsley, near Bradford upon Avon, and are well known for our locally sourced produce and great customer service. Working under the guidance of our Shop Manager and supervisors, your role will include greeting and helping customers with their enquiries, working on the till, serving customers, restocking shelves and displays, and ensuring the shop area looks clean, tidy and well-merchandised at all times.

The successful candidate will be able to go above and beyond for our customers on a daily basis and maintain a friendly, welcoming manner at all times to both staff and customers alike. If you have worked in a similar environment before then great, but if not, we will provide full training.

You will:

Be able to offer excellent customer service consistently Be a team player and possess good communication skills Be 17years or older due to the nature and shift length of the role Be a UK resident
