Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a friendly and proactive Shop Assistant to join our new dessert shop opening soon. The ideal candidate will be experienced in making waffles, and crepes. Training in drinks will be provided. This is a new project starting out at 2 evenings per week to be arranged and going up to 5 evenings per week. Salary up to 15 ph depending on experience
Duties:
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their order Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately Prepare and cook Waffles, Crepes and other Desserts Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the shop floor. Keeping tables clear and clean. washing up, and end of day cleaning.
Skills
Excellent communication skills in English. Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour Organised with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Good numeracy skills for handling transactions. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and customer needs Previous dessert shop, cafe, experience is essential
