Agrigem is an established amenity and landscape supply company based in Saxilby, just outside of Lincoln in Lincolnshire. We supply a range of products to professional contractors and amateur gardeners alike. The four main product groups are nutrition and fertilisers, grass seed, plant protection products and equipment. Our routes to market include traditional rep-based selling, inbound and outbound calls and online through a multi-channel strategy of our websites and online marketplaces.

Our website is an integral part of that strategy, and we are looking for a competent and hardworking developer to join our existing digital marketing team and help drive forward the development of the website as well as additional supporting websites and web-based solutions. You will be able to see projects through from start to finish and as you will be only working on internal projects you will not have to manage or look for new clients.

You will be based at our offices in Saxilby so must be willing to relocate or reliably commute.

The Role:

Maintain and expand existing websites and systems and develop new websites and systems at Agrigem and the wider Origin Group.

Collaborate with other departments and the wider Origin Group to help deliver relevant and useful solutions.

Document and logging of all development to assist any additions to the team and further future development.

Maintain and test the security of all systems and ensure they remain compliant and run regular testing on all systems.

Assist in the maintenance of any software and hardware.

Stay up to date with industry trends and online best practices.

Specification:

Have medium to high level of custom-built Full-Stack PHP development experience.

Experience with managing MySQL databases.

Client-side Javascript development experience (Jquery).

Experience with API (RESTful) integrations. (SOAP, JSON, XML).

An organised and logical approach to work.

The ideal candidate would also have experience in:

Google Ads or Bing marketing.

Direct email marketing (Mailchimp).

Search engine optimisation techniques.

Marketplace selling (eBay, Amazon).

Wordpress for additional supporting websites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 35,000.00-38,000.00 per year
