THE ROLE

You will work closely with a portfolio of clients across Orkney?"and occasionally Shetland?"supporting businesses, social enterprises, and community organisations to grow sustainably and transition to net zero. You will assess client needs, identify opportunities, and help deliver tailored support through HIE`s products and services. You`ll also play a key role in place-based development, collaborating with partners and stakeholders to deliver impactful projects that align with HIE`s strategic priorities.



THE PERSON

You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a proactive and solution-focused mindset, and a keen interest in community and economic development. You should have experience in client-facing roles within the public, private, or third sectors, and a good understanding of the Orkney economy and its challenges.
