THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Business Growth, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of businesses, social enterprises, and community organisations across Moray. You will work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients to identify opportunities for sustainable development, support their transition to net zero, and help them access the right support and funding. You will also contribute to project development and appraisal, represent HIE in local partnerships, and help shape our place-based development work.



This is a dynamic, client-facing role that requires regular travel across Moray and occasional evening work.



THE PERSON

We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual with a keen interest in business, community, and economic development. You will be confident working both independently and as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a background in client-facing roles across the private, public, or third sectors. You will bring strong analytical, financial appraisal, and report-writing skills, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Experience in business development and project management would be a plus.



Strong problem-solving skills, along with the flexibility to travel across Moray and to work outside of standard office hours when required, are essential.
