This role will be responsible for scoping, creating and commissioning all digital assets for MTC training. Working with 3 core teams: training services, foresighting hub and training delivery, this is a varied role that requires both hands on development and commissioning skills.
Web Development: Creating and maintaining websites using front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Application Development: Developing and managing online applications and services.
Prototyping: Creating prototypes to test and refine user interfaces and experiences.
Technical Specifications: Advising on and implementing technical specifications for digital projects.
Research: Staying updated with the latest web development techniques and technologies, including generative AI technologies, including models like GPT, DALL-E, and Stable Diffusion.
Collaboration: Working with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the final product meets user needs and business goals.
Responsible for developing tools and SQL queries to support the Workforce Foresighting process, including providing strategic advice on supplier and tool selection.
Recommending best in class assessment, marketing and other digital learning tools and platforms.

The role holder is expected to identify and recommend improvements to processes, policies, or procedures, based on practical/operational experience and feedback from colleagues.
Ability to pick up complex technical topics quickly.
Opportunities for improvement or innovation may come in any area of work.
Develop and maintain tools using Retool and Supabase platforms.
Write and optimize SQL queries to support the Workforce Foresighting process.
Provide advice on supplier selection, data source management, and third-party software tool selection.
Support decision-makers with insights requiring detailed technical understanding of the involved architectures.
Ability to scope and develop apps using different programs
Good understanding/familiarity with AI
