Arts University Plymouth (AUP) is looking to appoint a Digital Content & Social Media Officer to join our Brand & Communications team. In this role you will join a creative, integral and impactful team within Arts University Plymouth, creating and delivering digital content and social media.

In order to showcase our students, staff and events effectively, we anticipate that this role will be predominantly based on-campus with some homeworking possible each week.
About you:
Youll be a bright and ambitious team player, with real energy and enthusiasm. Youll be results driven and analytical, with great attention to detail.
Youll primarily be responsible for researching, creating, commissioning and publishing engaging and creative content across our various social media channels and online profiles, with a video-first focus (including reels, Tik Tok etc), engaging with our audiences in a meaningful way and supporting our recruitment targets.
Youll be experienced in using a range of content management systems to update websites, with the ability to write accurate and engaging copy as well as ensuring our web content is up to date and in line with CMA compliance and web accessibility requirements
About the role:
You will support the Head of Communications and Marketing and work with the Senior Press & Communications Officer, our Brand & Digital Marketing Manager, and the wider Brand, Recruitment and Admissions Team and our university staff to research, write and commission content to promote the work and events of the university, our students, staff, alumni and partners.
You will collaborate, innovate and try new ways to reach our audiences and to help us achieve our university targets for student success and growth. This will include filming and editing, photography, and upskilling others to help create valuable marketing content. The content youll create and share across multiple social media and digital channels will have a direct and positive impact, growing our excellent brand profile internationally and communicating the unique benefits of creative education at Arts University Plymouth.
