We are looking for a creative individual to provide effective two-way communications between the force and its internal and external audiences by supporting the development, use and analysis of our digital channels. As a subject matter expert for the force's digital channels, the role will be essential in training and supporting users across the force and planning and creating high-quality digital content.
If you are a creative individual with advanced video skills and the ability to write engaging material for internal and external channels this could be the job for you. You will have the opportunity to further develop the force's digital channels and strategies, helping improve them through evaluation.
To join our team you will have:
A nationally recognised qualification in digital/social media, communications, or journalism or equivalent relevant experience.
Strong experience of filming and video editing, preferably using Premiere Pro, and the ability to quickly learn new tools and techniques
Professional experience of using social media to reach target audiences and have enthusiasm for identifying and exploring new communication channels.
A knowledge of media law.
An understanding of evaluation approaches and statistical analysis skills to interpret, present and make sound recommendations on data.
