Overview
The Digital Health Hub covers a region of 1.4 million people in a region that is affected by high levels of disease and health inequalities. Our team includes all regional NHS organisations including GPs, adult and children's hospitals, mental health services and the recently introduced South Yorkshire "Integrated Care System", hundreds of researchers from the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University, many large and small companies, and patient and public groups.
Main duties and responsibilities
Manage and coordinate activities of the Digital Health Hub in conjunction with the counterpart role based at Sheffield Hallam University (SHU), support the Principal Investigator/Director and the workstream leads in the planning and delivery of their work packages, planning the timetable and coordinating activities, ensuring milestones are met on time.
Maintain the UoS website, social media channels, including funding for promoted materials to increase reach.
Manage the process for ensuring contracts, NDAs and IP agreements are in place, liaising with university teams as appropriate.
Chair regular meetings, providing follow up notes and actions, including Executive Group meetings.
Work with the dedicated Training Lead (who will develop training materials) and lead on the dissemination of information about the Digital Health Hub, collaborating with relevant teams across the partner organisations and communicating with stakeholders to prepare the specialist content for these activities.
Manage the Digital Health Hub budget and finances, including budgeting and monitoring spend, maintaining financial records and highlighting any required corrective actions.
Work with the PI/Director and Work Package Leads to devise and manage the process for allocation of pump priming to fund pilot projects.
Lead on outreach activities including attracting and recruiting new Digital Health Hub partners.
Support the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigators in the preparation of reports and any other document as required by the funders, including drafting first iteration where appropriate.
Suggest and organise appropriate ways for workstreams, Executive Board and members to meet and share information.
Support members of the Executive Board in the writing of large and strategic applications for funding.
Lead the recruitment process for staff, liaising with HR and other university teams as appropriate, including the line management of the Digital Health Hub Administrator.
