About the Job


At Immense Events we are seeking to recruit a Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager to join us and help reach and engage with our key audiences.

As the Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager you will be responsible for creating and scheduling social media posts, working closely with our paid social media ad's specialist. You will also be responsible for working with and creating content & designs for our media partners. This is an exciting role, which will require creativity, confidence with using online tools and platforms, and excellent organisational skills.

Founded in 2013 Immense Events are a successful events and hire business. We are a leading provider of live music and food based festivals across Dorset. We have a structured & sustainable growth plan over the next few years and we are looking for someone to grow and develop within the role as the company expands.

Key Skills


- Digitally creative - must have extensive knowledge of Photoshop/Canva, able to come up with their own creative ideas for graphics for social media, google ads, website.

- Some experience or familiar with creating content paid social media/google ad's

- Must have experience with video editing and Tik Tok - must be able to design short videos especially for Tik Tok audiences

- Must have experience with writing, and replicating a tone of voice to appeal to a specific audience

- Experience in social media management - responding to comments, messages and customer emails.

Responsibilities



Support the Events Development Manager and Operations Manager to create ongoing social media marketing campaigns Managing multiple social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Linkedin) Seek out and deliver content/high traffic opportunities Create written, graphic and video content using Canva, Photoshop or equivalent Schedule daily content to increase brand awareness, lead generation and audience participation Promote events on social media, website and community groups Liaise with the graphic designer to manage creation of content for internal use and external media companies Liaise with paid digital ad's specialists to produce ongoing content General social media management - responding to comments, messages and customer emails Working with our sponsors to ensure their marketing needs are met (social media posts and newsletters to match the pre-agreement) Social media live from the event site - responding to comments/emails, dealing with enquiries, uploading photos and doing frequent updates online whilst the event is running

What you'll bring to the role:



Your passion for digital marketing and keeping up to date with digital trends Lots of creativity! Proven experience with creating visuals, and writing with a specific tone of voice in mind A true passion and interest for the live music and events industry A degree or equivalent qualification in digital marketing Previous experience in digital marketing and content creation or experience within a similar role. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to plan and deliver to agreed deadlines Knowledge or a good understanding of the Events industry Excellent communication and presentation skills

Key Information



Employment Type:

Freelance - Part-time, Permanent

Hours: 20-30

hours a week with flexibility on week days Monday-Friday, with some weekends mandatory (25th-27th July & 8th-10th August 2025)

Location:

Majority office based in Southbourne. Requirement to work on-site at festival location over some weekends)

Start Date: ASAP/Early July 2025.
