We are seeking a creative and driven Marketing and Social Media Manager to oversee our marketing strategies and social media presence. Our Parkfoot we specialise in selling high quality local sourced products, and we are passionate about supporting local businesses. The ideal candidate will help us connect with our community. Promote our products, and grow our customer base through engaging content and effective campaigns.
Main duties and responsibilities
1. Marketing
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the store and its locally sourced products.
Plan and execute local events, collaborations, and instore promotions
Design and distribute marketing materials, including the up keep of our website.
Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns to suggest improvements with our team
2. Social Media Management
Create, schedule and post engaging content across all social media platforms
Highlight stories about local producers and the products they provide
Respond to comments, messages and reviews in a timely and professional manner
Track social media analytics to assess content performance and audience engagement
Stay updates on social media trends and incorporate them into the strategy.
3. Community Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and community groups
Represent the local brand at local events
Collaborate with local businesses and partners to expand our reach.
4. Charity and Community Initiatives
Organise and promote charitable campaigns
Build partnerships with local charities, food banks or community organisations to strengthen community ties
Create content showcasing the shops charitable efforts to engage the community and encourage participation
Track the impact of charitable initiatives and share results with customers and stakeholders.
5. Team Collaboration
Work closely with the rest of them to assure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business goals
Collaborate with store staff to gather insights on the customer preferences and incorporate them into marketing strategies
Support team members in planning and promoting in store events and seasonal campaigns
Share updates on marketing and social media plans with the team to ensure cohesive communication
Provide training or guidance to staff on prom ting the shops values and initiatives to customers.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From 19,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
