Wildscreen has been at the forefront of natural world storytelling for over 40 years. We are a conservation charity. Our mission is to connect people with nature through storytelling. We're looking for a purpose-driven, entrepreneurial and creative communicator who will develop and execute innovative and effective marketing and communications strategies and campaigns to grow and scale Wildscreen's reach and impact here in the UK and internationally.
2025 is a big year for Wildscreen, we've shifted from a biennial wildlife film and TV industry event and Panda Awards to annual and we're launching a revamped and ambitious storytelling community platform. You will be integral to the growth and success of these and our other events, programmes and partnerships in Autumn 2025 and beyond.
This role is focused on building Wildscreen's brand, influence and income. This spans everything from helping us to grow our visibility and trust, increasing crucial event ticket income, supporting the development of strategic partnerships with like-minded brands and organisations to growing our international community membership. Your work will help us reach, engage and grow our three key audiences - storytellers, changemakers and the naturally curious.
You will have to hit the ground running with WildPhotos 2025, our new Wildscreen Industry Summit and the Wildscreen Panda Awards Ceremony, taking place in mid to late October. They are already programmed, so this role is focused on ensuring maximising exposure and engagement, last minute ticket sales (in-person and online) and making the most of the opportunity to strengthen and grow our community.
We are looking for someone who is innovative and tactical, with a strong track record in developing and implementing engaging multi-platform marketing and comms campaigns that will drive audience and income growth across our events, membership and outreach projects.
You'll be a powerful communicator passionate about helping more people to connect with nature. You should be comfortable balancing many campaigns at one time, collaborating across teams, and be used to working in a fast-paced environment such as a start-up or small charity. We are a small, collaborative, nimble team so we are looking for a teammate who can think ahead and big picture but must also muck in and 'do the doing'.
