Acteon are currently recruiting for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will play an important role to deliver on an ambitious programme of digital change and marketing communications development for Acteon and its operating companies.

You will need to work across the business to support the online and offline marketing strategy, using their skill, knowledge and judgement to implement tactical activities that drive growth. The use of inbound digital tools, platforms and technologies will be at the heart of this role with the successful applicant having a broad knowledge of the digital marketing landscape.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Developing, analysing and maintaining digital campaigns alongside campaign leads to increase website traffic
  • Designing content for digital channels, websites and online/offline campaign materials
  • Scheduling and managing the social media content across multiple company profiles
  • Designing in-house online/offline campaign graphic materials as and when required using the appropriate software
  • Editing and publishing video content on platforms including YouTube and Vimeo
  • Manipulating and editing short video/animated graphic pieces for our external digital channels and the internal intranet
  • Assessing SEO and optimising the content on the company\'s websites
  • Administration of PPC campaigns across LinkedIn and Google Ads
  • Creation of landing pages, email nurture sequences and other inbound marketing campaign materials
  • Updating of the company websites - creating, designing and editing pages, ensuring information is always up to date
  • Designing and implementing direct email marketing campaigns to segmented administered email lists
  • Monitoring and administration of the prospect CRM system, ensuring data is relevant and up to date
  • Administrating the media library of photographs, assets, and publications
  • Organising, planning, and executing a content programme of webinar events for multiple brands
  • Supporting the marketing function in external event planning and logistics
  • Creating marketing performance reports and dashboards
  • Tracking, reporting, and analyzing website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
  • Implementing project management, production, and planning processes to support marketing plans and activity as briefed by the digital production lead
  • Helping develop business cases to support new marketing projects, budget requests, and marketing plans
  • Administering the corporate inbox and distributing opportunities to the business
  • Administering the budget requests and approval process for marketing activities, market intel, memberships, and event attendance
  • Working with third-party agencies to prepare briefs, monitor progress, ensure deadlines are met and maintain working relationships
  • Overseeing with campaign leads the quality of the content created by third-party copywriters and designers to ensure that style guidelines and brand identity are adhered to
  • Perform research into required market trends or new initiatives and provide clear, concise recommendations based on findings
Requirements
  • Graphic design and video editing experience
  • Ability to design, execute and produce graphic design, animated graphics, infographics video and imagery for digital platforms using software such as Photoshop, InDesign, PremierPro, Vimeo and other software
  • Excellent general education
  • Degree, diploma or qualification in marketing and/or proven relevant experience
  • Minimum of three years of experience in marketing
  • Relevant industry experience gained from the renewables, oil and gas, and/or marine construction industries would be desirable but not essential
  • Experience of overseeing/moderating/administering webinars
  • Familiar with SEO tools such as SEMRush
  • Working in a large organisation, delivering complex digital brand and marketing campaigns, external communication activities, plans, and material
  • Working with digital platforms and CMS/CRM systems
  • Direct experience using social media management tools
  • A passion for creating an excellent user experience through digital platforms and processes
  • An understanding of how to nurture leads using inbound dynamic workflows
  • Awareness of inbound software platforms for automation, and an understanding of HubSpot or equivalent such as Dotmailer
  • Creativity an eye for design and the willingness to take a hands-on approach alongside creative specialists to deliver best in class content for digital
  • Creative copy-writing skills to engage touchpoint communication
  • Optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization, performing ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
  • Researching and implementing content recommendations for organic SEO success
  • A passion for technological innovation and awareness of global trends in digital media technology
  • Understanding of brand guidelines and consistently implementing a brand across all channels and marketing materials
