Purpose of the Role
We're seeking a creative Digital Marketing Executive to support the planning and execution of our digital marketing strategies. You'll play a key role in enhancing our online presence and driving engagement across all platforms. A passion for digital, a keen eye for content, and an understanding of social media marketing are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow the social media presence of our brands across the Great Yorkshire Showground (including Fodder, Great Yorkshire Show, Great Yorkshire Events Centre, and Harrogate Caravan Park).
Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to build brand awareness and engage audiences across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
Create engaging content such as short-form video, imagery and artwork - while optimising content for each platform.
Monitor and respond to audience engagement.
Collaborate with teams across the showground to align marketing efforts and ensure consistent messaging.
Track, analyse, and report on social media performance using tools such as Sprout Social and native platform insights.

Experience & Qualifications
A creative mind with a strong passion for digital marketing and social media.
Ability to tailor content and tone of voice for a wide range of audiences - from corporate clients to consumers, farmers, and producers.
Practical experience in content creation including photography, short-form video, copywriting, and basic graphic design (e.g. using Canva).
Confident in creating and editing Reels, Stories, and TikTok's, with a solid understanding of video editing tools (such as CapCut).
Experienced in using social media management platforms (e.g. Sprout Social or similar).
Proven track record of delivering engaging and successful social media campaigns.
Personal Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Software Suite.
Polite and approachable.
Focus, thoroughness, and keen attention to detail.
Good level of written skills and ability to produce reports.
Has a 'can do/will do' attitude.
Excellent planning & organisational skills.
