About Terrier

Terrier is a fast-growing digital marketing agency with a focus on SEO, content, and performance marketing. We are looking for an Account Executive who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator. This role will require you to manage SEO audit projects, oversee content execution, and ensure all client deliverables are met to a high standard. Your ability to proactively manage tasks, work across multiple client accounts, and collaborate effectively with internal teams will be key to your success.

This is a 100% office-based role.

Essential Requirements

Strong organisational skills

- This role hinges on your ability to keep projects moving efficiently. You will oversee SEO audits, client deliverables, and monthly reporting, ensuring deadlines are met.

Attention to detail

- You will conduct website audits, analyse technical SEO issues, and ensure client reports are accurate and well-structured.

Analytical mindset

- You will track and interpret data from Google Analytics, Search Console, and keyword ranking tools to provide insights on SEO performance.

Experience with data and AI tools

- You must be confident working with datasets, using AI systems, and applying automation tools to improve workflows and reporting efficiency. This includes experience using or adapting AI-generated content, automating data tasks, and leveraging AI tools for research, optimisation, or process improvement.

Copywriting & content assessment

- You will create briefs for content writers, review AI-generated content, and ensure that all written material aligns with SEO best practices.

Good at building relationships

- You will liaise with clients, developers, and internal teams to ensure SEO strategies are implemented effectively.

Problem-solving ability

- You are proactive and can identify potential SEO issues before they become problems, offering solutions to improve performance.
Key Responsibilities

SEO Audits & Analysis

- Conduct website audits to identify technical issues, content gaps, and opportunities for optimisation.

Keyword Research & Mapping

- Identify target keywords and structure content strategies around them.

Reporting & Data Analysis

- Track performance metrics using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools, providing clear updates and actionable insights.

Client Communication & Account Management

- Keep clients updated on SEO progress, explain technical concepts in simple terms, and ensure all contractual obligations are met.

Content Management

- Brief copywriters with clear, SEO-focused instructions and oversee the execution of content strategies.

Technical SEO Implementation

- Work with developers to ensure technical SEO recommendations are implemented correctly.

Link-Building Oversight

- Coordinate monthly link-building activities and track their impact on SEO rankings.

Process & Calendar Management

- Maintain spreadsheets, content calendars, and project trackers to keep everything running smoothly.

AI & Automation Integration

- Support the agency's efforts to improve efficiency through AI and automation tools, contributing ideas and implementing systems that streamline recurring SEO and reporting tasks.
