Digital Marketing Executive

Contamac manufactures polymers for contact and intraocular lenses (used in cataract surgery) and is based in Saffron Walden. We are the world's largest supplier of contact and intraocular lens materials with two Queen's Awards for Enterprise - for International Trade and Innovation. We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive to join our marketing team.

You'll play a key role in executing Contamac's marketing strategies, implementing cross-channel campaigns, ensuring the smooth operation of marketing processes, and leading photo and video content creation.

Purpose of position:

As a key member of the Marketing Team, you will be responsible for implementing and leading digital marketing campaigns, and producing digital marketing content in various formats to align with the overall strategic marketing goals.

The ideal candidate will be educated to Degree (or equivalent) standard in a marketing discipline.

Role Function:

Lead end to end production of photo and video content. Create and lead email marketing to inform Contamac's thought leadership position and maintain communications with the industry. Update and maintain websites for Contamac and its subsidiaries with news items, product documents and other content via the content management system. Oversee and maintain social media platforms, including planning, writing and scheduling posts. Implement marketing strategies and campaigns with a focus on digital marketing (email marketing, social media campaigns, SEM). Assist with the planning and development of advertising and promotional campaigns for our company and products in a variety of media. Assist with internal marketing and communication requests across the company, working closely with the Sales and Marketing department. Support the organisation of tradeshows and events including the production of marketing collateral. Perform administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities. This includes reporting on social media and streamlining workflows within the team.

Job / Person Specification

Qualifications:

Marketing related degree / qualification or equivalent

Relevant Experience:

o 3 or more years of experience as a Digital Marketing Executive or similar role.

o Proven experience in photography and videography is essential

.

o Comprehensive understanding of Adobe CC, it is important for the candidate to have experience with Premiere Pro and Photoshop/Lightroom.

o Competent with website management, specifically WordPress and Shopify.

o Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or equivalent.

o Experience with social media platforms and content management systems.

o Understanding of SEO and AI search optimisation.

Aptitude, Skills and Abilities:

o Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a flair for storytelling and content creation.

o Highly organised nature, with the ability to prioritise and a strong attention to detail.

o A team player with strong collaboration skills, who is also self-motivated when working independently.

o Working knowledge of Elementor.

o Great copywriting skills.

o A passionate and creative marketer.

Commutable daily to Saffron Walden

In the next stage, you will be invited back for a final interview and to present your response to a task that you will be set in advance. This will be a type of assessment / task.

Benefits:
