The School of Photography is a rapidly growing company providing online photography courses across Europe, USA, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Asia. We pride ourselves on being the best education provider in this field, in the world.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Digital Marketing Manager with a passion for digital marketing and photography. As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for promoting the business across our digital channels and contributing to the growth of our business. You will take a lead role in the overall Marketing Strategy for the business.

This is a newly created role within our ever-expanding company, and you will be working alongside the founder and marketing assistant to plan, create and deliver marketing projects with the overall purpose to increase sales.

Your responsibilities will include:



Email marketing campaigns:

Creating and sending out targeting email campaigns to our customers and subscribers. Creating Automated email campaigns for new leads. Testing, monitoring and reporting to fully optimise our email activity.

Social media:

Managing our social media strategy including the day to day running of it and creating engaging posts and campaigns across our social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X and YouTube.

Website development and SEO:

Working on content creation for website and product landing pages to improve visibility in search engines. Monitor and analyze website traffic and user behavior using analytics tools.

Blog posts:

The creation and promotion of blog posts based around the subject of photography.

Content creation:

Creating visually engaging media in programs like Photoshop to post on social media platforms. (Photoshop Training provided if needed).

Customer communications:

Dealing directly with potential customers to increase sales.

Advertising:

Managing, creating and monitoring ad campaigns on digital platforms such as Meta and Google.

Market Research:

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

It's essential for the candidate to have all or most of the following:



Digital Marketing Qualification. 5+ years in a Digital Marketing role. B2C marketing experience. A good knowledge of photography. Exceptional ability to write high-quality, compelling and engaging copy in line with brand messaging and campaign objectives. Proven track record of improving open rates, click-through rates and conversions across email marketing, landing pages, advertising and social media. The ability to own, execute and monitor digital marketing initiatives including organic traffic, social traffic, paid advertising, SEO improvements, SEM, and emails. Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics and Facebook Ads Manager. Ability to write blog content based around photography. Experience and familiarity with major social media platforms and social media management. Excellent literacy skills. Excellent IT skills, including the use of AI to improve productivity. A passion for the art of photography.

Job Type: Full-time - 5 days per week - Office Based - Braintree - Normal working hrs Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm



Salary: 35,000 to 45,000 per year dependent on experience plus an extra 18k OTE.
