At Thorntons Law, every moment matters. Join us as a Digital Marketing Manager and you'll feel inspired. You'll feel connected. You'll feel like you belong. And it all begins from the moment you join us.

That's because we've created a different kind of law firm. Here, you'll build relationships with clients and colleagues that really last. You'll help shape what happens now, and what comes next. And we'll support and encourage you to be the best you can be.

This is what life at Thorntons is all about. And this is your moment to be part of it.

About the role

As Digital Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how Thorntons engages with clients, enhances its brand presence, and drives measurable growth across all practice areas. This is a strategic, hands-on position where you will work closely with the CMO, Head of Business Development, fee earners and wider business services teams to deliver high-quality digital activity that strengthens client relationships, improves lead generation, and supports firmwide ambitions. Your expertise will be central to elevating our digital performance, ensuring coordinated, insight-driven marketing that positions Thorntons for continued success.

It's about:

Digital Strategy & Campaign Management

Working with the Business Development and Marketing teams to plan, execute and optimise integrated digital campaigns across paid search, paid social, email and web to support firmwide objectives. Contributing to broader strategic discussions and supporting the development and delivery of the firm's digital marketing roadmap. Driving digital innovation, ensuring campaigns are aligned, insight-driven and designed to enhance brand visibility, engagement and conversion.

CRM Leadership

Designing and delivering data-driven CRM and email campaigns that support business development priorities and strengthen client relationships. Collaborating with colleagues across BD, marketing and fee-earning teams to manage segmentation, automation and targeted outreach. Ensuring best practice in CRM usage and contributing to improved client follow-up and lead generation processes.

Paid Search Leadership

Leading the firm's paid search strategy, working closely with specialist agencies and internal teams to maximise ROI across channels such as Google Ads and LinkedIn. Managing campaign structure, optimisation and reporting to ensure strong performance and continuous improvement. Leveraging agency expertise to identify new opportunities for targeted, high-performing campaigns.

Website, SEO & Content Performance

Supporting the ongoing development of the Thorntons website, applying SEO best practice to improve visibility, user experience, traffic quality and conversion pathways. Collaborating with colleagues to oversee and enhance website content, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and strategic objectives. Using analytics to inform content strategy and optimise engagement across digital touchpoints.

Social Media Management

Overseeing the firm's social media presence, working with the marketing team and external agencies to deliver consistent, engaging and proactive content. Support scheduling, posting and reporting to ensure clear performance insights and continuous improvement. Delivering internal training sessions to support confident and consistent social media activity across the firm.

Content Development & Digital Advertising

Contributing to the creation and management of digital content--including video, infographics and interactive assets--that enhances client engagement and supports campaign goals. Ensuring content is aligned with brand messaging, well-targeted and optimised for each platform.

Data, Analytics & Reporting

Producing regular digital performance reports with actionable insights to guide decision-making and highlight campaign impact. Using analytics tools to drive improvements in online visibility, engagement, and lead generation. Working with the wider BD and marketing team to share and act on data-driven recommendations.

Collaboration & Supplier Management

Working closely with IT and other internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and performance of digital tools and platforms. Managing relationships with digital agencies and suppliers, ensuring high-quality delivery to agreed objectives and timelines. Overseeing review-site activity to support online reputation and client engagement
