HUS London is a modern Chinese restaurant in London, specialising in refined Southern Chinese cuisine. Following the success of our first launch, we are preparing to open Hus Robatayaki in October 2025 -- a new concept inspired by Japanese robata grill culture with a modern twist.
We seek a creative, culturally fluent, and bilingual Marketing Manager to lead the branding and marketing of this venture while supporting the operational growth of our expanding brand.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Brand Development
- Plan and execute cost-effective digital marketing strategies for Hus Robatayaki, ensuring alignment with budget constraints for the new launch.
- Manage and grow our presence across Chinese (Xiaohongshu, Weibo, Douyin) and UK (Instagram, TikTok) social platforms.
- Create compelling content calendars and campaigns to drive pre-opening buzz and post-launch engagement.
- Participate in brand positioning, market research, and competitive analysis to optimise ROI.
Operational & Cost Management
- Collaborate with management to monitor marketing expenditures, ensuring efficient resource allocation for the second restaurant's launch.
- Support day-to-day operational marketing needs for both HUS London and HUS Robatayaki, including promotions, events, and partnerships.
- Track KPIs (e.g., CAC, engagement rates) to refine strategies and report on performance.
Cross-Cultural Storytelling
- Develop culturally nuanced narratives that resonate with UK and Chinese-speaking audiences.
- Leverage food and hospitality trends to enhance brand differentiation.

Requirements
- Master's degree in Marketing, Media, Economics or related field.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (written/spoken).
- Experience in digital marketing, with expertise in UK and Chinese social platforms.
- Passion for food culture (Japanese/British/Shanghainese); familiarity with omakase/Michelin dining preferred.
- Strong analytical skills to balance creativity with cost efficiency.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, supporting both strategic and operational needs.
