We're looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who's ready to shape the future of The Dolphin.
This isn't just another shopping centre, The Dolphin is a community-first destination, home to independent brands, creative spaces and alternative occupiers. Your objective is to bring it all to life online.
You'll lead digital campaigns, grow engagement, and build a brand people want to be part of. You'll report to the Centre Manager, but you'll have the freedom to shape the strategy, test ideas and make bold moves.
Key Responsibilities
What You'll Do
Strategy & Planning
Build and deliver a yearly digital marketing plan
Focus on, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube
Align with market research and centre goals
Use Sprout and Meta Business Suite to manage and track campaigns
Content Creation
Create original reels and posts that feel fresh and local
Use your iPhone, Canva, and Adobe Suite to produce content fast
Capture stories from retailers, events, and the community
Keep the website updated with new reasons to visit
Formulate a content schedule for the client and management to view
Analytics & Reporting
Track performance across all platforms
Spot trends and adjust content strategy
Deliver monthly reports showing ROI and campaign impact
Recommend improvements based on real data
Collaboration & Production
Work with an external videographer to produce standout content
Lead creative direction and ensure brand consistency
Approve final edits and publish across channels
Community & Events
Support the Community Manager with event planning
Help deliver celebrations that bring people together
Promote events online and amplify engagement
Flexible working times when there are events
Retailer Engagement
Build relationships with retailers through forums and visits
Curate content from new launches, promotions, and activities
Share updates across the website and social channels
Brand & Communication
Make sure all marketing follows brand guidelines
Write copy for digital and printed materials
Handle reactive media and crisis communication when needed
Compliance & Admin
Follow health and safety policies
Meet reporting deadlines
Take on other tasks when required
What You'll Bring
Strong creative instincts

Experience managing social media solo

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Essential:
Candidates will be required to demonstrate the following:
Qualifications: Degree in Marketing, Digital Social Media
Proven experience in a similar role
Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing trends
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Creative thinker with strong analytical skills
Proficient in full range of applications inc. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access Outlook, Canva, Mondays, (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator preferable), Sprout
Reliable, helpful, and well presented
Ability to work in a team, or alone under the direction of Centre Manager
Team player with strong customer service skills, able to provide helpful and polite service
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to deal with confidential information
Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multi task in a calm and professional manner
Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Careful and conscientious with an aptitude for attention to detail
Willingness and ability to learn on the job, keen to undertake training and career development
Good knowledge of Poole and the surrounding area
Working Hours - 37.5hrs
