This position will be based in our 5 Howick Place, London office
This role combines technical expertise in email marketing with analytical skills to optimize campaign performance and drive conversions. It also requires project management to make sure digital campaigns are executed in line with SLAs and that cross-functional coordination supports successful campaign deliver.
Key Responsibilities
Email Marketing Strategy & Execution
Design comprehensive email marketing campaigns adhering to best practices
Optimize email content, CTAs, formatting, and pre-headers to maximize engagement
Determine optimal send times based on audience behavior and data analysis
Manage and maintain the email marketing calendar
Monitor email frequency to prevent subscriber fatigue
Execute email campaign activation and ensure timely delivery
Act as a consultative partner to stakeholders -- proactively advise, guide, and communicate email marketing best practices, share what "good" looks like, and make recommendations informed by data insights and campaign learnings
Liaise with the Marketing Automation and Segmentation teams and provide support with QA as necessary
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
Monitor email delivery metrics and troubleshoot delivery issues
Develop and monitor A/B testing strategies to improve campaign performance
Track and analyze email conversion rates
Generate comprehensive campaign reports with actionable insights
Monitor and maintain Email Campaign SLAs
Optimize campaigns based on performance data
Leverage data to drive decision-making and continuously refine email marketing strategy and execution
Digital Marketing Integration
Coordinate with paid media, SEO, and CX teams for integrated campaign activation
Leverage analytics to inform cross-channel marketing decisions
Implement process improvements to enhance marketing effectiveness
Coordinate between the Brand and Digital Marketing teams to ensure consistent delivery of priorities
Act as the central point for compiling wash-up documents (e.g. post-show reports)
Coordinate projects that cross multiple digital disciplines, providing regular updates on progress, blockers and outcomes
Develop and in-depth understanding of the Brand(s) you are supporting - including their Marketing Strategy and tactical plans - and share this knowledge across the wider Digital Marketing team
Provide cover for other members of the Digital Marketing team during periods of holiday, illness, or other absence, ensuring continuity of key campaign activity

Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in executing email marketing
Strong understanding of email marketing platforms and tools
Experience with email A/B testing methodologies
Proficiency in analyzing marketing metrics and KPIs
Knowledge of email deliverability best practices
Experience with marketing automation platforms
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent project management abilities
Technical Skills
Email Marketing Platforms (e.g., Marketo, Eloqua)
Experience using email tools such as Email on Acid, FreshAddress and Inbox Monster
Analytics Tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
