We have an exciting opportunity within our internal Customer Marketing team for a Digital Media & Performance Manager to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. This is a great opportunity for a Senior marketer with a substantial track record of running successful agency relationships and delivering ROI in omni-channel marketing environments. As a subject matter expert, you as Digital Media & Performance Manager will support the Head of Customer Marketing in driving the next step-change in digital performance marketing for M&B. Working with the strategic lead agency and internal brand, finance and commercial stakeholders this role is pivotal in identifying and delivering ROI growth for the business, powered by an optimised promotional strategy.
What will I be doing?

  • Reviewing current assumptions including budget allocations, media mix and internal structural support to deliver future strategic recommendations that will drive performance growth for M&B.
  • Being responsible for the management and effectiveness of M&B's paid performance-driving media planning and delivery.
  • Working with our brand and finance teams to ensure that M&B media investment achieves and exceeds (the defined) ROIs, including development of market leading promotional strategies deployed across the full marketing mix.
  • Understanding synergies across media channels and recommend the right channel mix by brand/sector.
  • Redefining our working practices, develop appropriate performance metrics and benchmarks and create relevant media business cases.
  • Working closely with analysts, finance and external partners to continuously drive performance optimisation and oversee a test & learn programme.
  • Providing cross functional leadership in campaign planning, execution and evaluation.

  • Senior marketing experience with substantial track record of running successful agency relationships and delivering ROI in omni-channel marketing environments.
  • Strong functional marketing channel understanding (traditional ATL as well as cross channel performance marketing, partnership marketing, promotional offer management).
  • Strong influencing skills, supported by superb analytical skill with very strong attention to detail.
  • Breadth of experience in development of successful retail promotional strategies and tactics.
  • High levels of financial and commercial acumen.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • High calibre of communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong team player and drive to get things done.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated.
