Job Title:Senior Digital Operations Executive

Reporting to:Digital Operations Manager

Location:Wavemaker Worldwide, London

Objectives of the Role:
  • The Senior Digital Operations Executive is responsible for managing digital campaigns across Wavemaker Worldwide clients.
  • As a senior member of the Digital Operations team, you will coach, mentor and evolve the team\'s skills and capabilities to ensure that Wavemaker has the best in class Ad Operations processes, tools and technologies to deliver against client strategies.
  • You will be a primary point of contact for your clients and internal customers alike so as to better understand their needs, and to offer consultancy around the optimal level of Digital Operations services & support, including but not limited to: user journey tracking, interfacing with DMPs, tracking viewability, verification and other critical issues facing a truly digital agency.
  • Digital Operations and the data it generates is core to Wavemakers Digital and Data strategy and this pivotal senior role also supports the driving forward of the agency\'s ability to offer our clients the best service.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

Customer Service
  • Managing & facilitating the uploading of digital advertising campaigns into third party ad-serving platforms, communicating with clients and online publishers, and proactively troubleshooting problems
  • To be a point of escalation and champion for Digital Operations activities throughout Wavemaker Global
  • Supporting and leading a consistent system of review of Digital Operations team services to enable them to meet and exceed the requirements of our customers and changes in industry.
  • Lead and enable a best-in-class system of Digital Operations efficient processes and tools, both in-house and 3rd party including, but not limited to: tagging and tracking technologies, web analytics strategies, ensuring accuracy in data collection and technology
  • To support and manage partnerships with relevant internal & external stakeholders to understand, document and deliver
new technology and service requirements for clients. * To support and manage relevant external relationships with vendors and tool providers to enable a best in class and informed Digital Operations service within Wavemaker
  • Developing an understanding of the client business, marketplace, and implementation requirements of Wavemaker whilst maintaining an enterprising and proactive attitude in all client dealings
  • Responding to all requests in a professional and timely manner
  • To support the Digital Operations Team in maintaining a consistent, best in class, system of Operations customer services, documented workflows, best practices, processes and proactive communications with all internal and external customers
  • To support and lead process adoption and optimization / standardization throughout the team, maximizing efficiencies and utilization
Leadership & management
  • Support, coach and empower all members of the team to ensure they fulfil and exceed their potential and the requirements of their individual roles
  • Lead and support a high performing, customer service centric team culture and ethic with all team members & stakeholders
  • Enable efficient Digital Operations tools / processes adoption & standardization to ensure the team is consistently able to optimize their time efficiently and meet the demand of workload and non-BAU projects alike
  • Support a progressive system of management of all clients and accounts across the team to ensure individual team members development and flexibility of resource
  • Maintain and support
a strong system of consistent training and professional skills advancement to ensure all team members can provide proactive customer service via enthusiastic participation in day-to-day business, training programs and industry events * Support the implementation of the Digital Operations Strategy and associated other leadership strategies with the team and stakeholders
  • Represent the company and the client to the media and other partner agencies in a professional manner
Key Skills:
  • Knowledge of Ad-servers from a Publisher or Agency side
  • Troubleshooting - Investigation, documentation, and resolution of technical issues - in-house with client service teams and on-site with publishers and/or clients.
  • Facilitate implementation of clients\' campaigns into 3rd party ad serving system(s) and send ad materials to publishers
  • Structured quality assurance (QA) testing of campaigns considering GroupM and publishers\' implementation of supplied ad materials.
  • Contributes to tracking strategy development
  • Working knowledge of web advertising concepts & campaign management technologies
  • Grow the teams knowledge of Third Party Adserving
  • Must possess a passion for problem solving, an eye for detail, patience, and the ability to multitask
  • Excellent Excel skills - familiarity with the basics of data manipulation and digital advertising reporting.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint skills - familiar with building PowerPoint decks and has done so previously to communicate topics to colleagues or to the client
  • Highly motivated with a \xe2\x80\x9ccan-do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude
  • Organized, detail & process-oriented approach
  • Ability to manage & lead a team of personnel well under pressure and to tight deadlines

  • Good at sharing knowledge with other team members and guiding peers into Digital Operations best practice on a technical and soft skills level.
Required skills / experience:

Background
  • Media agency or publisher, data and technology industry or technology vendor (preferred)
Experience (desired, not required)
  • 2+ years digital online / ad operations experience in a publisher or agency environment, particularly in ad server platforms
  • Essential: Experience working in Adserver platforms Google Campaign Manager (CM360) and Flashtalking. Sizmek and Adform experience is a plus.
  • DCO, site analytics (e.g. GA) and MMP (e.g. Appsflyer) experience is a plus
  • Experience in client liaison and account management
  • Delivery of complex technical implementations using a multitude of platforms
  • Troubleshooting and debugging of online ad campaign issues
  • Quality Assurance testing of tags on client sites
  • Organised & able to prioritise workload in a multi-tasking environment
  • An understanding of the industry landscape would be preferred
  • Existing understanding of JavaScript, HTML and CSS would be a bonus
  • Experience coaching, mentoring and/or leading a project would be preferred
