About The Royal Photographic Society
Founded in 1853 The Royal Photographic Society is an educational charity and the world\xe2\x80\x99s oldest photographic society with a current membership of 10000 photographers of all flavours both amateur and professional from around the world. They hold annual exhibitions which are curated to inspire and inform on the art and science of photography. The RPS is based in Paintworks Bristol\xe2\x80\x99s characterful and unique creative quarter.

The RPS is looking for a Digital Platform Manager to manage and oversee the development of all digital platforms.

About the Digital Platform Manager role

  • As Digital Platform Manager you will be working with the senior leadership team and relevant managers to implement the direction and strategy for the Salesforce system (both internally and externally).
  • You will work with the Data Manager to ensure the smooth running of Salesforce and to manage technical queries
  • Collate and process platform feedback from staff/ volunteers and external users and relaying to supplier(s) as needed. Communicating updates back to staff/volunteers as needed.
  • You will develop and oversee the implementation of a new website strategy and updates liaising with website developers on both updates and any issues/ fixes required.
  • You will review plan and oversee improvements to the website performance and coordinate responses to general website queries.
  • Outside of Salesforce and website development you will support general marketing activities related to digital areas.
  • You will also work with teams on plans to improve digital offering for members and liaise with relevant team members on overall development strategies for the digital areas of RPS.
What experience you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to apply
  • Previous experience working in a similar role; whether that\xe2\x80\x99s a Digital Platform Manager or Digital Development Manager.
  • Experience using marketing automation tools and CRM software ideally Salesforce and Pardot.
  • Website management experience (RPS use Umbraco).
  • Experience of managing stakeholders and web development agencies.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis.
  • You\xe2\x80\x99ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be a collaborative team player. We\xe2\x80\x99d also love to hear from you if you also have a passion for or background in the arts.
