Job Description

The Digital Product Manager for Credit & Account Management is a key leadership role at the heart of NewDay's multi-year technology transformation.



We are looking for innovative product leaders with experience of delivering platform transformation, ideally in FinTech.



You'll join a dynamic product team responsible for our critical account financial billing applications that are core to our platform vision and objectives.



What you will deliver:



Lead your team in implementing new capabilities, from discovery and the gathering of requirements through to delivery. Launch new customer credit products on and migrate existing portfolios to the platform. Manage product roadmaps, communicating progress, risks and issues. Analysing problems and business needs and writing user stories and supporting requirements that meet the teams' Definition of Ready. Establish processes and controls to ensure effective operation of the product meeting all required standards. Influence partners and stakeholders to ensure initiatives in their domains are delivered to high quality, on time and within budgets. Reporting progress and plans to NewDay leadership teams. Publish content to our Engineering and Product community to foster a culture of learning, growing and innovation.

Skills and Experience



Essential



Strong understanding and experience of building B2B and B2C products, preferably in Financial Services. The ability to build strong working relationships with peers, stakeholders, and teams and leverage these relationships to build consensus and deliver value. Excellent prioritisation and decision-making skills with demonstrable experience of building compelling change arguments, driving consensus, and leading business/backlog priorities in general. Experience of working with challenging users and stakeholders to elicit product feedback, manage expectations, and drive the value perception of your product while also maintaining a long-term vision and strategy. Experience in multiple product delivery methodologies and proven experience of applying the 'best' methodology based on the challenge/circumstance. Proven ability to lead and coach others.

And we would love you to have



Client-facing B2B experience, particularly in building and maintaining relationships with external clients and supporting business development efforts. Experience in delivering consumer-facing digital products that scale and have a tangible impact on customer experience. Background in working in a fast-growing FinTech or financial services environment. Certifications in agile methodologies, such as Scrum or SAFe, are a plus.
