We're looking for a Digital Project Manager who will be critical to the successful delivery of projects and the smooth running of our business.

We are looking for someone who thrives on meeting deadlines, creating and thoroughly testing user journeys, while maintaining high standards for client satisfaction and product outcomes. Although this position is to cover maternity, for the right candidate this position could potentially be extended or made permanent.

Your responsibilities



Working closely with Account Managers to understand and take ownership of project briefs. Management and daily team schedule coordination for delivery of website/software projects from the design phase through to deployment. Monitor project budgets, identify risks, and implement cost-effective solutions to keep projects on track. Independently able to conduct Quality Assurance (QA) testing to ensure that all Appeal projects and sprints are delivered to the highest standard. Applying CMS knowledge and UX logic to test the front-end and back-end of a website, ensuring it fulfils the specifications, designs and minimum standards set out. Managing additional QA resources on projects where required. Where needed to meet deadlines, assist team with copy & artwork upload management into the content management system to ensure overall design and marketing intent for the client. Communication with clients regarding website content and feedback. Scoping adhoc client requests with development leads and client management relations for adhoc requests. Take ownership of maintaining and continuously improving operating procedures Understanding WordPress and software capabilities and working with developers to scope and find solutions.

We're looking for someone who is passionate and committed about a career in technology. This is a full-time contract role on a hybrid basis. We would expect you to be able to attend our town hall meeting once a month at Origin Workspace in Bristol. Ideally, you would be able to come into the office once or twice a week but this is not essential.

Minimum requirements



2+ years experience project managing bespoke WordPress and other digital projects. Currently, the workload is split about 70% WordPress and 30% bespoke software so WordPress experience is critical. Understanding and experience applying Project Management Principles such as Agile and Waterfall methods. Extra considerations would be made for those with certification in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile). Experience in discovering and writing potential user journeys for testing purposes. Familiarity with web hosting, domain management, and SEO best practices is an advantage. Experience with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, ClickUp) and proficiency in managing timelines, budgets, and resources. Competency using Microsoft Office / Google Docs tools. Experience in a customer-facing role previously. Attention to detail is absolutely critical. You enjoy working autonomously and managing others. Fluent in English, equivalent to IELTS 8 or higher.

Benefits



Pay 32,000 to 36,000 per annum depending on experience 12 month maternity cover contract with potential for contract extension or permanent position 24 days annual leave + bank holidays WPA cash health benefits plan
