What You'll Be Doing:
As a member of the dimensional team, you'll play a key role in guiding product and process engineering to control dimensional variation throughout the entire vehicle development process, from initial design to final assembly. You'll contribute to the development and implementation of Dimensional Control strategies for Body and Trim systems and help deliver class-leading Dimensional Quality on current and future Aston Martin vehicles. Your work will involve analysing how dimensional tolerances affect overall vehicle quality, using advanced measurement and simulation techniques including Virtual Reality to analyse variation and optimise designs. You'll assess and optimise component interfaces, locators, and manufacturing processes to ensure consistent quality, safety and performance. Along the way, you'll gain opportunities to work closely with Design, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and multiple different Body Engineering functions covering Interior, Exterior and Structures).

Essential requirements:

• A level typical offer*

AAA to include Mathematics and Physics.
Applicants with a strong profile who are studying one from A level Physics or A level Mathematics may be considered.
Unless specified differently above, you will also need a minimum of GCSE grade 4 or C (or an equivalent qualification) in English Language and either Mathematics or a Science subject. * Able to commute to the Gaydon site by personal transport.
