Job Overview

I am seeking a compassionate female Caregiver to provide companionship to a 26 year old lady with moderate learning disabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting those with learning disabilities though experience can be gained on the job. This role involves providing friendship and accompanying the young lady on various activities. These activities may include trips to cafes, mini golf, bowling, swimming , shopping, cooking and dog walking. 4 hours a week, flexible schedule. Extra hours often available.

Duties

Plan trips out. Engage clients in activities that promote mental and physical well-being. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life . Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean living environment. Assist with transportation needs, including driving clients to appointments or social activities. Plan and assist with meal preparation occasionally

Skills

Experience in with special needs prefered. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with client. Capability to prepare simple nutritious meals. A valid driving licence and own car essential.
