JOB DESCRIPTION:

TITLE: Director of Business Development

REPORT TO: Sales Director

THE ROLE

The primary role will be the generation of new revenues from Sustainable Advantage\'s

delivery of sustainability and ESG related services including consultancy, data services and

procurement.

The Sales Director will allocate the Director of Business Development sectors and clients to

target, to secure new name accounts. and will complement the ESG/Energy Connections

consulting teams to win new name large construction accounts.

The Director of Business Development will focus on qualifying leads generated by Sustainable

Advantage\'s marketing programmes and progressing these opportunities through the pipeline

to sale. The Director of Business Development\'s incentives will be geared towards new

business recurring revenues.

As the ESG market is extremely fast growing, the candidate will be comfortable with short

sales cycles and a high level of bid and closing activity (we currently have a 67% closure rate

on proposals submitted).

The Director of Business Development will contribute to the development of a marketing

strategy for Sustainable Advantage and will be involved in the development of new products

which can be sold into the company\'s target mid-market base.

This is an office based role in Hersham with the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis following

completion of probation.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION

ESSENTIAL

A track record of selling professional/consulting and/or data based business services to mid-

market customers.

Demonstrable experience of managing a B2B sales pipeline, working autonomously with a

systematic approach to qualifying leads and closing opportunities.

A genuine interest in developing a career with a business that is helping a wide variety of

companies on a sustainability journey.

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

DESIRABLE

Experience in the sustainability sector

PACKAGE

This depends on the experience of the candidate - base salary of \xc2\xa355,000 to \xc2\xa365,000 with on

target earnings (OTE) of \xc2\xa3120,000.
