Salary:\xc2\xa355,000 - \xc2\xa365,000

FTE: The first 12-14 months of this role will be 1.0FTE in Curriculum, after which, 0.6FTE of the employee\xe2\x80\x99s time will transition to operations to deliver this programme

The Curriculum team plans, builds and maintains industry-leading programmes. We build training content that changes lives. The content we build is engaging, interactive, and cutting-edge, using modern training tools and creative approaches to content development. The content we build supports Operations, Marketing, Sales and Compliance and is fundamental to the success of the business as a whole.

The role:

As our Director of Senior People Professional Curriculum, you will build and maintain industry-leading training content relating to the Senior People Professional Apprenticeship Standard. You will drive the planning and build of Senior People Professional training content that can be delivered at scale for maximum real-world impact. This is your opportunity to join a high-performing curriculum team and work collaboratively to build programmes used by numerous professionals, supporting their development. Responsibilities include:

  • Support the build and maintenance of other leadership and management training products
  • Write engaging, interactive and concise eLearning content that has real business impact and gets learners to End-Point Assessment on time with minimal dropouts
  • Work collaboratively with the curriculum team to design and continuously improve our suite of high quality, interactive workshops
  • Plan first-class audio and video content and work with our AV team and external contractors to produce it
  • Collate high-quality, targeted further learning/reading lists for each module
  • Quickly and thoroughly research new topics in order to produce cutting-edge professional content
  • Ensure our programme continues to meet all the requirements of the Apprenticeship Standard
  • Support the build and maintenance of other leadership and management programmes
  • Continuously improve all aspects of the programmes in light of learner, PDE, employer, end-point-assessment organisation (EPAO) and other stakeholder feedback
  • Produce and maintain programme guides, templates and supporting documentation to support learners and Professional Development Experts
  • Support the upskilling of Professional Development Experts to deliver the programme
  • Work closely and collaboratively with all relevant stakeholders, such as those in the teams of Curriculum, Assessment, Marketing and Operations
  • Work effectively with external stakeholders as directed
  • Work collaboratively with other Directors of Curriculum on other programmes both current and future
  • Follow the responsibilities and guidelines set out for the Curriculum Team to produce high quality content on time, complete administrative processes, and deliver positive behaviours and communication
  • Make sure Personal Development Behaviour and Attitudes (PDBA), and Off-The-Job-Hours (OTJH) requirements are seamlessly met in the programme
  • Be the expert on past, present and future versions of the Apprenticeship Standard, assessment methods and the best approaches to consistent learner achievement
  • Ensure content is cutting-edge

Experience and Skills:

Essential:
  • Expert-level, lived industry experience in Human Resources
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the Senior People Professional Apprenticeship Standard, covering all three options
  • Experience writing educational/training content
  • Experience delivering training
  • Detailed knowledge of End-Point Assessment
Desirable:
  • Experience of having successfully taken a cohort of learners through EPA is highly desirable
  • A professional HR qualification
  • A teaching/coaching qualification
  • Experience of delivering an HR or leadership apprenticeship
  • Experience of writing HR or leadership apprenticeship training content
