Our client is a highly reputable Law practise and is seeking a skilled HR Director to join the team and lead the HR department. This is a rare opportunity to join a reputable and prestigious firm that values its employees and fosters a positive and inclusive work culture.

Please note that this is a replacement role and we are looking for the successful candidate to commence employment in no earlier than June.

As the HR Director, you will have a key role in developing and implementing HR strategies to support the firm\'s business objectives. You will work closely with the firms partners and managers to understand their needs and provide effective HR solutions. Your expertise in employment law and regulations will ensure that the firm is compliant with all HR policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the firm\'s goals and values
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process for all positions within the firm
- Create and maintain employee policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
- Manage performance evaluations and develop retention strategies for top performers
- Advise and support managers in handling employee relations issues
- Provide guidance and support on compensation and benefits packages
- Lead training and development programs to enhance employee skills and promote career growth
- Conduct regular audits to ensure HR processes are efficient and effective
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR practices within the firm

Qualifications:
- CIPD Level 7 / Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Proven track record in developing and implementing HR strategies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
