Are you a passionate and experienced veterinary surgeon ready to take on a senior leadership role while staying hands-on in clinical practice? We're looking for an ambitious Director of Practice & Clinical Services to lead and inspire our dedicated teams across Miramar Vets in Sheringham and Glaven Vets in Holt and Wells-next-the-Sea.
This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic leadership, clinical excellence, and team development in two thriving, community-focused practices on the stunning North Norfolk coast.
About the Role
As our Director of Practice & Clinical Services, you'll be the driving force behind clinical direction, team culture, and practice growth. This hybrid role allows you to combine hands-on clinical work with strategic leadership, ensuring our teams deliver the highest standard of care to pets and their owners.
Key Responsibilities:Provide clinical leadership and day-to-day oversight of veterinary teams across both sites
Champion best practice, evidence-based medicine, and high clinical standards
Mentor, coach, and support the professional development of vets, RVNs, and support teams
Work alongside practice managers and operations teams to drive business performance, efficiency, and growth
Lead on recruitment, retention, and development of clinical protocols
Ensure compliance with RCVS and industry standards
Promote a positive, collaborative, and supportive team culture
About YouMRCVS-qualified veterinary surgeon with strong clinical credentials
Previous leadership experience or a clear desire to step up into a senior leadership role
A confident communicator with a people-first mindset
Passionate about clinical excellence and supporting team development
Commercially aware, with an interest in the business side of practice operations
Organised, approachable, and proactive in driving improvements
