About the Role

As

Director of Practice and Clinical Services

, you'll be the driving force behind the clinical direction, team leadership, and continued success of the practice. Working closely with our practice management and wider leadership team, you'll shape and implement our clinical strategy, mentor and inspire our vets and nursing staff, and ensure the highest standards of care and service for our clients and their pets.

This is a

clinical and leadership hybrid role

-- ideal for someone who wants to maintain hands-on work with patients while stepping into a meaningful and influential leadership position.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical leadership and day-to-day oversight of the veterinary team Champion best practices, high clinical standards, and evidence-based medicine Support the professional development and wellbeing of the team through mentoring and coaching Work with the Practice Manager and Operations to drive business performance, efficiency, and growth Play a central role in recruitment, retention, and the ongoing development of clinical protocols Ensure RCVS and industry compliance across all areas of clinical care Foster a culture of teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement


About YouA qualified and

experienced veterinary surgeon

(MRCVS) with strong clinical credentials Ready to take on a

leadership role

- either with previous leadership experience or a clear desire to grow into one An excellent communicator with a collaborative, people-first mindset Passionate about delivering top-tier clinical care while helping others thrive Commercially aware with an interest in the business side of practice operations Proactive, approachable, and highly organised
